The Boiler Mag electrolytic scale reducer provides high performance protection against limescale deposits. This electrolytic scale reducer can extend the lifespan of the heating system and improve operating efficiency. Part L of the Building Regulations states that where mains water hardness exceeds 200 ppm the water in the hot water circuit must be treated to reduce the rate of limescale deposition and in doing so maintain energy efficiency. As specified in the Domestic Services Compliance Guide an Electrolytic Scale Reducer is the most efficient treatment method. This product also Minimises limescale deposition, Improves boiler efficiency and lifespan, is WRAS approved, requires zero maintenance and is suitable for 15 mm pipework.
