Once seedlings have emerged and developed a few sets of true leaves, ensure they receive plenty of light and continue to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.

The ceramic pots provided are suitable for the initial growth. For long-term growth and larger yields, you may eventually need to transplant the chili plants into larger pots with fresh potting soil.

The included peat-free compost is designed to get your plants started. For sustained growth, especially as plants mature, you may need to supplement with a suitable liquid fertilizer.

Ensure the compost is consistently moist and the environment is warm (20-25°C). Insufficient light or cold temperatures can delay or prevent germination. Try covering the pots with a clear plastic bag or propagator lid to retain humidity, ensuring to ventilate daily.

Yellowing leaves can be caused by overwatering, underwatering, or nutrient deficiency. Check the compost moisture. If it's consistently wet, reduce watering. If it's dry, water thoroughly. Consider feeding with a diluted liquid fertilizer if the plants have been growing for several weeks.

Ensure the plants are receiving enough sunlight and have been properly fertilized if necessary. Pollination might also be an issue indoors; gently shake the plants or use a small brush to transfer pollen between flowers.
