The ergonomic handle is designed for a general grip, though most Fiskars scissors offer symmetrical handles that accommodate both left and right-handed users comfortably.
While they can cut light fabric, they are optimized for paper and school supplies. Using them on heavy fabrics may dull the blades faster.
These scissors feature a tapered tip, which provides greater precision than fully rounded safety scissors.
Yes, these scissors are dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning.
The blades are crafted from durable stainless steel for long-lasting edge retention.
Check the pivot point for paper scraps or debris and clean with a damp cloth.
Use a mild solvent or adhesive remover safe for steel to wipe the blades, followed by a soapy wash.
These scissors require no assembly; they are ready for use immediately out of the packaging. To ensure maximum longevity, wipe the blades clean after use with adhesive materials like tape or glue, as residual buildup can cause friction. While these scissors are dishwasher safe, placing them in the utensil basket with the blades facing down is recommended to avoid accidental injury. For manual cleaning, use warm soapy water and a soft cloth, ensuring the tool is thoroughly dried before storage to keep the stainless steel in pristine condition.
