This reel features a Carbon Matrix™ drag system that provides up to 20lbs of smooth and reliable drag performance.

While primarily designed for freshwater, it can be used in light saltwater conditions. However, rigorous rinsing and maintenance after each saltwater use are crucial to prevent corrosion and maintain performance.

The reel uses the MagTrax™ brake system. You can adjust the external knob for overall brake pressure. Aim for a setting where the lure just drops when the reel is tilted, then fine-tune with your thumb during the cast.

The reel is equipped with 7 stainless steel ball bearings plus one roller bearing for ultra-smooth operation.

The asymmetrical body design is engineered to optimize the reel's weight, balance, and ergonomics, making it fit more comfortably in your hand and providing better control during use.

Lubrication frequency depends on usage and environment. For regular freshwater use, lubricating key points every few months is generally recommended. For saltwater, rinsing after each use and more frequent lubrication is advised.
