Getting the most out of your Optrex Refreshing Eye Drops involves understanding proper application, compatibility with other eye products, and basic care to maintain sterility.
Application Instructions
- Remove Contact Lenses: If you wear contact lenses, remove them *before* applying the eye drops.
- Prepare: Tilt your head gently backwards.
- Apply: Gently squeeze the bottle to release 1 or 2 drops into each eye.
- Wait: If you use contact lenses, wait at least 15 minutes after applying the drops before reinserting them.
Compatibility
- Contact Lenses: As noted, temporary removal is required.
- Other Eye Products: If you are using other eye medications, consult your doctor or pharmacist to ensure there are no interactions. Typically, it's advised to wait at least 5-10 minutes between applying different eye drops.
- Users: Suitable for adults and children.
Care and Maintenance
- Storage: Store the bottle in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
- Hygiene: To prevent contamination, do not let the dropper tip touch your eye, eyelid, or any other surface.
- Closure: Always replace the cap tightly immediately after use.
- Discard: Discard the bottle within 28 days of opening to ensure sterility and effectiveness. Do not use past the expiry date printed on the packaging.
