Product Information

Full details

The Vinsani Cake Decorating Turntable is an essential tool for both home bakers and professional pastry chefs who need a stable, rotating platform for precise icing, piping, and dessert assembly. Its primary benefit is the smooth 360-degree rotation that allows for seamless decoration without the need to manually turn the cake base, though its lightweight plastic construction may feel less substantial than heavy-duty stainless steel models when working with multi-tiered, heavy fondant cakes.

FAQs

Can I use this for heavy, multi-tiered cakes?

While it is stable for standard cakes, it is best suited for lighter to medium-weight cakes due to its lightweight plastic construction.

Is the turntable dishwasher safe?

No, it is not dishwasher safe. We recommend hand-wiping with a damp, soft cloth.

Does it have a locking mechanism?

No, this model is designed for free rotation and does not feature a lock.

What is the diameter of the turntable?

The turntable is designed to accommodate standard-sized cake boards and common cake diameters.

Can I use this as a display stand?

Yes, its neutral white design makes it an effective and clean-looking display stand for cakes and cupcakes at a dessert table.

Troubleshooting

The turntable does not rotate smoothly.

Check the underside and the center pivot for any dried icing or debris that might be creating friction.

The cake slides while I am decorating.

Place a damp paper towel or a silicone mat between the cake board and the turntable to increase friction.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the Vinsani Turntable is straightforward as it comes ready to use right out of the box. Simply place it on a flat, level surface to ensure even rotation. To maintain the unit, wipe the surface with a damp, soapy cloth immediately after use to prevent icing or batter buildup. Do not submerge the unit in water or place it in a dishwasher, as internal rotating components may become damaged or collect moisture. If the rotation becomes sluggish over time, ensure there is no debris trapped in the central pivot and that the surface is perfectly level.
