Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Assembly is required upon delivery. The chimenea comes with clear instructions to guide you through the process. Typically, this involves attaching the decorative legs to the main body and ensuring all parts are securely fastened.
Compatibility:
This chimenea is designed to burn any type of fuel, including wood and charcoal, offering flexibility for both ambiance and cooking. It is suitable for use on patios, gardens, and other outdoor spaces.
Care:
- Rust Management: As metal chimeneas will rust over time, especially when exposed to the elements, regular care is essential. After use and once cool, wipe down the exterior. Consider applying a high-temperature stove paint or a protective oil if rust becomes significant. Rust does not typically affect the chimenea's functionality.
- Cleaning: Clean out ash and debris after each use once the chimenea has cooled down. The interior can be brushed, and the exterior can be wiped with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
- Storage: During prolonged periods of non-use or harsh weather, consider covering the chimenea or storing it in a dry place to minimize rust formation. The included lid helps protect the top opening.
