Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting your Shark FlexBreeze fan ready and keeping it in top condition is straightforward.
Initial Setup
- Unbox and Assemble: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Follow the quick start guide for any minor assembly required, such as attaching the base or fan head.
- Charge Battery: For cordless use, fully charge the internal battery before the first use. Connect the fan to a power outlet using the provided charging cable. The battery indicator will show charging status.
- Fill Water Tank (for misting): Open the water tank cap (Info needed: Location of cap). Fill the integrated water tank with clean, cool tap water. Do not overfill. Ensure the cap is securely closed.
Compatibility
- Power Source: Operates cordless on its internal battery or connected to a power outlet (Info needed: AC adapter voltage/type).
- Environment: Designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Its water and UV resistant construction makes it robust for patio, deck, or garden settings.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning the Fan Blades: Regularly wipe the fan blades and grille with a soft, damp cloth to prevent dust buildup, which can affect airflow efficiency. Ensure the fan is off and unplugged (if applicable) before cleaning.
- Cleaning the Water Tank: Periodically empty and rinse the water tank to prevent scale buildup or mold. Use a mild soap solution if necessary, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Cleaning Mist Nozzles: If mist output decreases, gently clean the misting nozzles with a soft brush or cloth to remove any mineral deposits. (Info needed: Instructions for descaling or specific nozzle cleaning tools).
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, fully charge the battery, empty and clean the water tank, and store the fan in a cool, dry place.
