Sealey TRX-Star Socket Set - 14pc

TRX-Star (often denoted with an 'E' before the size, e.g., E4) refers to internal Torx fasteners. Standard Torx (often denoted with a 'T' before the size, e.g., T15) are external fasteners. This set is for internal TRX-Star fittings.

The set includes sockets for 1/4"Sq Drive (E4-E8), 3/8"Sq Drive (E10-E14), and 1/2"Sq Drive (E16-E24).

These sockets are typically designed for use with manual ratchets and impact drivers, not heavy-duty impact wrenches, unless specified otherwise. Using them with high-torque impact tools may void the guarantee.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. For stubborn grime, a degreaser can be used followed by drying. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.

Sealey's lifetime guarantee typically covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover accidental damage, misuse, wear and tear, or normal deterioration. Please refer to Sealey's official terms and conditions for full details.

Typically, individual sockets are not sold separately from the set. If a socket is damaged or lost, you may need to purchase a replacement set or inquire with Sealey directly about their warranty process.

Ensure you are using the correct TRX-Star (E-type) socket size for the fastener. Verify the fastener is not a standard Torx (T-type) or a damaged/worn fastener.

Check that the socket is fully seated onto the fastener. Ensure the knurled grip is clean. If the fastener or socket is worn, replacement may be necessary.

Apply penetrating oil and allow time to work. Use a breaker bar for increased leverage with the appropriate drive size. Ensure the socket is properly engaged to avoid stripping.

Clean the affected area with a fine-grade steel wool and a light lubricant. Dry thoroughly and store in a dry environment. If extensive, contact Sealey regarding the lifetime guarantee.
