With powerful 2,100 watts and an idle speed of 4700 revolutions per minute, the robust Ø 254 mm carbide saw blade with 48 teeth works quickly and finely through the material. The robust saw has a smooth-running pull function for broad work pieces. This enables a cutting width of max. 305 mm and a cutting depth of max. 85 mm. The precise angle setting on the aluminum rotary table simplifies the desired oblique cut. For the most common angles, snap-in positions are already provided in the rotary table, which can be read clearly on the basis of an angle scale. The angle setting up to 47° to the left and right facilitates quick adjustment. The saw head can also be inclined to 45° to the left and right with a quick adjustment and thus provides for a flexible and almost freely selectable miter cut. The well visible integrated cross-line laser and the depth stop make the work much easier. In each case, left and right, supports are provided for longer workpieces. A practical clamping device is provided so that the work pieces can also be fixed securely. The easily accessible spindle lock makes it easy to change the saw blade and goes quickly from the hand. A chip-collection funnel is located behind the saw blade for improved saw removal. In addition, a suitable wet/dry vacuum cleaner can be attached with the available Ø 36 mm suction connection which keeps the workplace even cleaner. The TE-SM 10 L is a dual bevel sliding compound mitre saw which can cut through materials up to 305mm wide and 85mm deep in a single pass. The turntable base has snap-in preset positions for commonly required angles and the saw head can be tilted up to 45° in either direction. The sliding feature is also paired with a depth stop function which allows the blade to be levelled out at a fixed height if required, and thus allows for grooves and channels to be cut into the material, rather than cutting all the way through.
