Product Information

Full details

The VidaXL Room Divider is ideal for homeowners or renters looking to create private zones within open-plan living areas or studios. Its primary benefit is providing a portable, breathable, and stylish partition that helps manage sunlight and visual privacy without requiring permanent construction; however, users should note that as a fabric-based screen, it is designed for visual separation rather than soundproofing.

FAQs

Can this divider be used outdoors?

This product is intended for indoor use only. Prolonged exposure to moisture or high winds can damage the fabric and frame.

Does it require tools for assembly?

The product comes with an assembly manual and is designed for quick setup. Basic household tools may be required, depending on the specific model requirements found in your manual.

Is the fabric removable for washing?

The fabric is designed as a permanent part of the panel frame; we recommend spot cleaning rather than removing the material.

Can multiple units be joined together?

The unit is designed as a standalone two-panel screen. While you could place them side-by-side, there are no built-in hinges to link multiple units together.

What is the weight of the divider?

The unit is built with lightweight iron and polyester, making it easy to move, though the exact weight varies slightly by batch.

Troubleshooting

The room divider feels unstable.

Ensure the divider is placed on a flat, even surface and that the panels are angled slightly to provide a wider base of support.

Fabric appears wrinkled upon unboxing.

Lightly mist the fabric with water or allow it to hang naturally for a few days, as the tension of the frame will help pull out minor packing creases.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Lightweight and easy to relocate
Foldable design saves significant storage space
Breathable fabric maintains airflow while blocking direct sunlight
Simple aesthetic fits most interior design styles
Sturdy construction ensures stability

Cons

Provides no acoustic insulation
Limited to two panels, which may not cover very wide spaces
Requires floor space for stable placement

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Assembly is straightforward and guided by the included instruction manual. Because the divider relies on an iron frame and fabric panels, keep the unit in a dry indoor environment to prevent potential corrosion of the metal components. For care, wipe the iron frame with a dry cloth periodically to remove dust. If the polyester fabric accumulates dust, a light vacuuming with a soft brush attachment or a gentle wipe-down with a slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these may damage the fabric finish.
