ROC springs are manufactured in Lesjöfors, Sweden, using advanced cold coiling technology. Each spring undergoes a rigorous multi-stage production process to ensure optimal performance and extended service life. To enhance fatigue strength and prevent premature breakage, all ROC springs are subjected to shot peening, a process that bombards the spring with millions of tiny steel balls to create positive residual stress. Corrosion protection is provided by Zinc Phosphate, a chemical compound offering sacrificial protection where the zinc corrodes before the spring steel, thus prolonging the spring's lifespan. This is further enhanced by an electrostatic coating of epoxy powder resin paint for superior corrosion resistance. Every ROC spring is meticulously inspected and tested to meet the highest quality standards, and each is marked with a production code and batch number for complete product traceability. For safety, suspension springs must always be replaced in axle pairs, as differing springs on the same axle can lead to suspension imbalance, negatively impacting vehicle handling and braking. ROC's guarantee is valid only when springs are replaced in axle pairs. Always verify the spring size and end shapes are correct before installation. Springs should be fitted in the same orientation as the original equipment. Exercise caution during spring replacement, as compressed springs store significant force and can cause serious injury if dislodged. Always use specialized tools for compressing springs and ensure installation is performed by a competent individual, following instructions from a recognized repair manual. Inspect spring pans, bushings, and link-arms for damage and replace if necessary. After installation, confirm springs are correctly seated and properly tensioned.
