Setup and Application

1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure the area to be repaired is clean, dry, and free from loose debris. Lightly sand or scrape away any flaking paint or plaster.
2. Open the Tub: Stir the contents gently if separation has occurred, though typically it's ready to use.
3. Apply the Repair: Using a plastering trowel, putty knife, or flexible scraper, apply a thin, even layer of the product over the hole or imperfection.
4. Smooth the Surface: Work the product into the repair, ensuring it fills the area completely. Immediately smooth the surface with a wet trowel or damp sponge to achieve a flush finish with the surrounding area.
5. Allow to Dry: Let the repair dry thoroughly. Drying time will vary depending on the thickness of the application, humidity, and temperature.
6. Refine (Optional): Once dry, lightly sand with fine sandpaper (e.g., 180-220 grit) if further smoothing is required. Alternatively, a final smoothing pass with a wet trowel after initial setting can achieve a glass-like finish.
7. Seal Before Wallpapering: If you plan to wallpaper over the repair, it is crucial to seal the dried surface with a plaster sealer or a sealer/PVA mix. This prevents the wallpaper paste from being absorbed unevenly and ensures proper adhesion.

Compatibility

• Substrates: Compatible with internal plaster and plasterboard surfaces.
• Decorating: Suitable for painting with most standard emulsion and other wall paints, and for wallpapering (after sealing).

Care and Storage

• Tool Cleanup: Clean all tools immediately after use with water before the product hardries. Once dry, it becomes much harder to remove.
• Product Storage: Ensure the lid is securely closed and sealed after each use to prevent the product from drying out and to protect it from contamination. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and frost.
