Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
The Kaiser AT 9440 ECO can be installed as either a ducted or recirculating unit. Ducted installation requires connecting the hood to an exhaust vent. Recirculating mode uses charcoal filters to purify air before returning it to the kitchen. Ensure the hood is securely mounted to the wall, following the installation instructions. Electrical connection should be performed by a qualified electrician.
Compatibility
This cooker hood is compatible with standard kitchen setups. It operates on 220-240V, 50 Hz power supply. Ensure the dimensions are appropriate for your space before installation.
Care
- Cleaning: Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Grease Filters: Remove the grease filters every two months and clean them in the dishwasher or by hand with mild detergent.
- Charcoal Filters: Replace charcoal filters every 3-6 months, depending on usage, for optimal odor absorption. Replacement filters are available from Kaiser.
