These chlorine granules are a popular choice for maintaining safe and bacteria-free pool and spa water. Apply regularly to achieve the recommended free chlorine level of 3-5 mg/l (ppm) for hot tubs or 1-3 mg/l (ppm) for swimming pools. These granules dissolve rapidly, are long-lasting, and have minimal impact on water pH. They are suitable for shock dosing small above-ground pools. Key Features: Granular chlorine has little effect on the water's pH level. These stabilised chlorine granules are ideal for regular dosing of your swimming pool or spa, producing free active chlorine that eliminates bacteria and other potentially harmful organisms. Application Instructions: 1. Maintain pH level within the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6. Adjust with PH plus or PH minus products if necessary. 2. Maintain free chlorine residuals for spas within the range of 3 – 5mg/l (ppm). For swimming pools, aim for 1 - 3mg/l (ppm). Freshly filled spas require an initial shock dose: 50mg/l (ppm) for 1 hour or 20mg/l (ppm) for 2 hours. 3. This product can be applied directly to pools or spas with temperatures above 20 degrees C. If the temperature is lower or you are unsure, it is recommended to pre-dissolve the product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 10g per 0.2 gallons (1ltr) of water. Stir thoroughly until fully dissolved. Add the solution to the spa or pool while the pumps are running. 4. Repeat dosage if necessary to reach required levels. 5. Periodically shock dose your spa (e.g., weekly or after heavy use) to eliminate excess contamination. Dose Rates: A medium hot tub with 1,000 litres (220 Gallons) of water requires 2g for an increase.
