Setup, Compatibility & Care
To keep your clock functioning and looking its best, follow these guidelines:
- Installation: Select a wall location that is structurally sound. Use a wall anchor and screw appropriate for your wall type (e.g., drywall, brick, or wood) to support the weight of the clock.
- Battery Insertion: Carefully install the required battery (not included) into the rear mechanism housing, ensuring the polarity is correct.
- Time Adjustment: Use the dial on the back of the movement mechanism to set the time. Avoid moving the metal hands manually by hand, as this can damage the internal motor.
- Maintenance: Dust the clock face and frame periodically with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasive materials, as these may strip the distressed finish.
