Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the engine is turned off and cool.
- Locate the power steering fluid reservoir.
- Check the current fluid level against the 'min' and 'max' markings.
- If the fluid level is below the 'min' mark, add the Power Maxed Power Steering Stop Leak directly into the reservoir. Follow the dosage instructions on the product packaging, typically around 30-50ml per liter of fluid capacity, or use the entire 325ml bottle for systems up to 6.5 liters.
- Replace the reservoir cap securely.
- Start the engine and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times to circulate the fluid.
- Recheck the fluid level after a short drive and top up if necessary, being careful not to overfill.
Compatibility:
This product is generally compatible with most standard power steering fluids. However, it is always recommended to consult your vehicle's owner's manual or a mechanic if you are unsure about your specific fluid type.
Care:
Store the product in its original container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure the cap is tightly sealed to prevent evaporation or contamination.
