Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure optimal performance, insert the tool into a standard 3-jaw drill chuck, ensuring that the 3-flat shank is centered and tightened securely. Always use a light amount of cutting fluid or oil when working with harder alloys to prolong the life of the M2 steel and improve the finish quality. After use, wipe the tool clean of metal shavings and dust. Store the countersink in a dry environment or a dedicated tool organizer to prevent the cutting edge from dulling against other metal objects. Do not subject the tool to excessive lateral force, as the single-flute geometry is optimized for vertical deburring pressure.
