Setup
- Placement: Position the dishwasher in its designated cabinet space. Ensure it is level using the adjustable feet to prevent leaks and ensure proper operation.
- Water Connection: Connect the water inlet hose to a cold water supply and the drain hose to your wastewater system. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- Electrical Connection: Plug the dishwasher into a grounded electrical outlet. For safety and proper function, it's recommended that plumbing and electrical installations be performed by a qualified professional.
- Initial Run: Before loading dishes, run an empty cycle with dishwasher detergent to flush out any manufacturing residues.
Compatibility
This Bosch Series 4 Dishwasher has standard dimensions of 845 mm (Height) x 600 mm (Width) x 600 mm (Depth). It is designed to fit into most standard kitchen cabinetry. Always measure your available space carefully to ensure a proper fit.
Care
- Filter Cleaning: Regularly check and clean the filters located at the bottom of the dishwasher. Remove food debris and rinse under running water.
- Spray Arm Maintenance: Periodically inspect the spray arm nozzles for blockages from food particles and clear them if necessary.
- Interior Cleaning: Wipe down the interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For deeper cleaning, run a dishwasher cleaning product or a hot cycle with a cup of white vinegar periodically.
- Exterior Cleaning: Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Rinse Aid and Salt: Monitor and refill rinse aid and dishwasher salt (if applicable for your water hardness) levels according to the manufacturer's instructions to ensure optimal drying and prevent limescale.
