Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Measure and Plan: Determine the area you wish to cover and plan the layout of the panels. Measure and mark cut lines if customization is needed.
- Cut Panels (if necessary): Use a fine-toothed saw or utility knife to carefully cut the panels to your desired size. Ensure cuts are straight and clean.
- Choose Installation Method: Decide whether to use adhesive or screws. Ensure the chosen method is appropriate for your wall surface.
- Install Panels:
- Adhesive: Apply a suitable strong adhesive to the back of the panels or directly to the wall according to the adhesive manufacturer's instructions. Press panels firmly into place.
- Screws: Pre-drill holes in the panels and the wall. Secure panels using appropriate screws. Ensure screws are flush with the panel surface.
- Join Panels: Align subsequent panels edge-to-edge for a seamless look.
Compatibility:
These panels are designed for interior wall application. They are compatible with most standard wall surfaces, including drywall, plaster, and wood. Ensure the wall is clean, dry, and structurally sound before installation. Not recommended for use in high-moisture areas unless adequately protected.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe gently with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners which can damage the wood veneer and felt.
- Maintenance: Periodically check that panels remain securely attached. Dust accumulation can be managed with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner attachment.
