Homerepublic 2 Seater Sofa Protector - Wine

The sofa protector is made from durable, soft microfibre fabric.

The protector features a water-repellent finish, which means it resists liquids to a certain extent, but it is not fully waterproof. Promptly blotting spills is recommended.

This protector is designed for 2-seater sofas. It has a draped fit with an elasticated band for securing, making it adaptable to many standard 2-seater sizes. However, it is not a fitted cover.

The protector is designed for standard sofas. Its effectiveness on a sofa bed would depend on the sofa bed's mechanism and dimensions when used as a sofa.

You can wash it as needed, depending on use and how frequently spills or dirt occur. For regular cleaning, washing it every few weeks to a month is generally sufficient.

The 'Wine' color is a rich red hue. We recommend checking product images and potentially ordering a swatch if color accuracy is critical for your decor.

The product description mentions an elasticated band for securing, but not an explicit anti-slip backing. The microfibre material may offer some natural grip.

Ensure the elasticated band is securely fastened around the top back of the sofa. For added security, you can tuck excess fabric into the sofa cushions.

For fresh spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For set-in stains, pre-treat with a mild detergent before machine washing as per care instructions.

Avoid using fabric softeners during washing, as they can reduce the effectiveness of the water-repellent treatment. Consider re-applying a fabric protector spray suitable for microfibre if performance degrades significantly over time.

Remove the protector from the dryer promptly to minimize wrinkling. You can also try a low-heat iron if necessary, being careful not to overheat the fabric.
