FAQs

Is this watch water-resistant?

It is designed for everyday wear and can withstand minor splashes, but it should not be submerged in water or worn while swimming.

Can I replace the strap with a leather band?

The Iris series features a custom integrated bracelet design, meaning it is not designed for interchangeable straps.

What is the diameter of the watch face?

The watch features a compact 22mm dial size.

Does it have a backlight?

No, the Coach Iris relies on the reflective qualities of the mother-of-pearl dial and crystal markers for visibility in low light.

Is the gold-tone finish prone to fading?

With proper care, such as avoiding contact with perfumes and lotions, the gold-tone finish will maintain its luster for a long time.

Troubleshooting

Watch has stopped ticking

The battery likely requires replacement. Visit a certified watch repair shop to have the battery changed to ensure the casing seal remains intact.

Bracelet feels too loose or tight

Take the watch to a professional jeweler who has the correct tools to remove or add links without damaging the gold-tone finish or pearl settings.

Surface of the metal appears dull

Gently buff the stainless steel parts with a soft jewelry polishing cloth. Do not polish the crystal markers directly with abrasive materials.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Sophisticated, jewelry-forward design
Compact 22mm size perfect for smaller wrists
Versatile gold-tone finish matches various outfits
Durable stainless steel construction

Cons

Small dial may be difficult to read at a glance
Pearl accents require careful handling to avoid scratching
Limited water resistance for specialized swimming activities

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Coach Iris remains in pristine condition, follow these guidelines:

Sizing: Because this watch features a bracelet-style strap, you may need a professional jeweler to remove extra links for an optimal fit.
Cleaning: Gently wipe the stainless steel casing and bracelet with a soft, lint-free cloth after use to remove sweat and oils. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners.
Pearl Care: The embedded pearls are delicate; store the watch separately from other jewelry in a velvet-lined pouch to prevent surface scratches.
Storage: Always store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight to preserve the finish of the gold-tone plating.
