FAQs

What is the weight capacity of the Nash Bank Life Toilet?

The toilet is designed with a sturdy frame to support standard adult weight, though care should be taken to ensure it is placed on a stable surface.

Can I use standard trash bags instead of the supplied ones?

While technically possible, it is recommended to use biodegradable bags to ensure environmental responsibility at the water's edge.

Is the toilet waterproof?

The frame material is highly resistant to moisture, and it comes with a waterproof transport bag to protect it from the elements.

How heavy is the unit?

The Nash Bank Life Toilet weighs 3 kg, making it easy to carry along with your fishing gear.

Does it come with a carry bag?

Yes, a waterproof transport bag is included to keep the unit clean and contained during transport.

Troubleshooting

Unit feels unstable on the ground

Ensure the feet are firmly placed on level ground; use flat stones or boards under the feet if the bank is particularly soft.

Difficulty folding the unit after use

Check that no debris is trapped in the hinges and ensure the locking mechanism is fully released before attempting to fold.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Full-sized seat height offers superior comfort compared to bucket-style alternatives
Extremely compact when folded for easy storage
Lightweight design is ideal for long-session anglers
Includes a dedicated waterproof carry bag
Environmentally friendly with biodegradable liners

Cons

Requires ongoing purchase of replacement biodegradable bags
Larger footprint than minimalist camping toilets
Not suitable for use on extremely uneven or soft mud banks without leveling

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the unit is intuitive: expand the frame, ensure the support points are locked into position, and drape the biodegradable bag over the seat area. When finished, carefully remove and tie off the bag for disposal.

To clean the frame after use, wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Ensure the nylon material is completely dry before folding it away into the included waterproof transport bag to prevent odors or mildew buildup. While the frame is robust, avoid overloading the unit beyond recommended weight capacities to maintain the integrity of the hinges.
