Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation of the PP29 is straightforward and typically takes less than 10 minutes. Simply open your vehicle's factory airbox, remove the old paper filter, and drop the Pipercross element into the housing, ensuring the rubber seal is seated correctly to prevent unfiltered air from bypassing the filter.
Compatibility is specific to vehicles designed for the PP29 frame size; always verify your vehicle's airbox dimensions against the part number. For care, it is essential to use official Pipercross cleaning kits. Washing with household detergents can damage the foam structure or the oiling efficacy. Typically, the filter should be inspected every 5,000 to 10,000 miles, depending on driving conditions, and cleaned when a visible layer of dirt covers the primary surface.
