The Ferplast Hidda Wooden Small Animal Hideaway is designed for small pets like guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, and mice, offering them a secure and comfortable place to rest and hide within their habitat. Its key benefit is providing a natural, stable, and safe retreat crafted from responsibly sourced wood. A potential consideration is its fixed dimensions, which may not suit all cage sizes.

The hideaway is made from FSC™ certified wood, which is sourced from forests managed responsibly according to strict environmental, social, and economic standards.
It is designed for small animals such as guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, and mice.
The dimensions are 32 x 25 x H 21.5 cm.
Wipe it with a damp cloth. For tougher grime, use a mild, pet-safe cleaner sparingly and ensure it's completely dry afterward.
No, the Ferplast Hidda Hideaway comes fully assembled and is ready to be placed in your pet's habitat.
The wood used is safe for pets. However, excessive chewing may damage the structure over time. Providing other safe chew toys is recommended.
This product is designed for indoor use within a pet's habitat. Exposure to weather elements is not recommended.
Ensure the hideaway is placed on a flat, even surface within the cage. Check that the cage floor or bedding is not uneven where the hideaway sits.
This is a natural behavior for some rodents. While the wood is safe, monitor for significant degradation. Ensure the pet has appropriate chew toys available.
Remove the hideaway from the cage and clean it thoroughly with a damp cloth and pet-safe cleaner. Ensure it is completely dry before reintroducing it. Regular spot cleaning of the cage and the hideaway itself can prevent build-up.
Setup: The Ferplast Hidda Hideaway arrives fully assembled and ready for placement. Simply position it within your pet's cage or enclosure. Ensure the placement allows easy access for your pet.
Compatibility: This hideaway is designed for use with common small animal habitats and is suitable for guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, and mice. Ensure the cage is large enough to accommodate the hideaway along with other necessities like food, water, and bedding.
Care: To clean the hideaway, wipe it down with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can be harmful to pets. For stubborn dirt, a mild, pet-safe cleaner can be used sparingly, followed by thorough wiping with a clean damp cloth. Ensure the hideaway is completely dry before returning it to the cage to prevent mold or mildew.
