DK (double knit) weight yarn is a medium-weight yarn, typically used with 4mm needles or hooks. It's versatile and suitable for a wide range of projects.
The amount of yarn needed depends on the size of the sweater and the pattern. Always check the pattern requirements before starting your project.
Yes, this yarn can be used for baby projects, provided you follow the care instructions carefully. The tweed effect adds a nice visual texture for baby items.
A 'nep' is a small knot or fleck in the yarn that creates the tweed effect. It adds texture and visual interest to the finished project.
Store your knitted or crocheted items in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Check your ball of yarn for knots or tangles before beginning. If a tangle occurs, gently untangle the yarn, working slowly and carefully to avoid breaking the strands.
Work slowly and carefully, especially when using intricate stitch patterns. If a nep catches, gently release it without pulling or breaking the yarn. Consider using smooth needles or hooks.
