The Rikä 1lb Copper Hammer is a specialized, non-sparking striking tool designed for professionals in high-risk environments where flammable gases or combustible residues are present. Its primary benefit is the combination of a soft copper head that prevents surface marring and ignition risks, paired with a vibration-dampening fiberglass handle. While ideal for sensitive mechanical tasks, it is a softer material than steel, meaning it will wear down over time during heavy-duty use.

The copper composition is non-sparking, making it significantly safer than steel in volatile environments; however, it should always be used in accordance with your site's specific safety protocols.
It is not recommended. Copper is soft, and striking concrete will cause the head to deform rapidly.
If you detect any movement between the head and the fiberglass shaft, discontinue use immediately and inspect the mechanical bond.
Copper is softer than many harder metals like steel, so it may leave slight copper transfers; however, these are generally easy to wipe away and are preferable to the deep dents caused by steel hammers.
The handle is permanently affixed for safety. If the handle sustains structural damage, the entire tool should be replaced.
Use a heavy-duty metal file or bench grinder to dress the copper face back to a flat, uniform surface.
Clean the grip surface with a degreaser or mild soap and water to restore the tackiness of the soft-touch material.
This hammer requires no assembly; it is ready for use immediately upon removal from the packaging. To maintain the tool:
