Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure a successful installation, strip your cable jacket carefully to expose the conductors without nicking the copper strands. Ensure your cable diameter falls within the 2mm to 4mm specification; if the cable is too thin, the internal clamp will not hold it securely, and if it is too thick, the housing will not close. Always use a high-quality electronic solder and keep your heat application brief to avoid melting the internal insulation. For long-term care, occasionally clean the gold-plated jack with a lint-free cloth and high-purity isopropyl alcohol if you notice any oxidation or interference.
