Setup
- Placement: Choose a stable, level surface with sufficient space around the unit for ventilation. Ensure the unit is not exposed to direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Leveling: Use the adjustable feet to level the wine cooler.
- Power Connection: Plug the unit into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Temperature Setting: Allow the unit to run for several hours to reach the desired temperature before loading the bottles.
Compatibility
The FWC604SS is compatible with standard household electrical outlets (220-240V, 50Hz). It is designed for freestanding use only. Ensure adequate ventilation space around the unit.
Care
- Cleaning: Clean the interior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
- Shelves: Remove and clean the wooden shelves periodically.
- Door: Clean the glass door with a glass cleaner.
- Condenser: Keep the condenser coils (located at the back) free of dust. Vacuum them gently every six months.
- Defrosting: Though it has a humidifier, monitor for ice buildup. If excessive ice forms, unplug the unit and allow it to defrost naturally.
- Maintenance: Regularly check the door seals to ensure a proper seal to maintain internal temperatures.
