Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Identify a suitable location in your garden with adequate sunlight and space for the trellis.
- Push the legs of the trellis securely into the ground to a depth of at least 20 cm.
- Attach the provided metal cross clips and plastic clasps to connect the arch tubes and secure the desired layer height.
- Adjust the spacing between layers as needed, ensuring a recommended height of 52 cm per layer for optimal support, especially for young plants.
Compatibility:
This trellis is designed for climbing plants such as cucumbers, tomatoes, grapes, peas, zucchini, and other vining vegetables and fruits. It is suitable for most garden soil types, provided the ground is firm enough to support the inserted legs. Ensure the plant's eventual mature size and weight are within the 15 kg capacity.
Care:
- The plastic-covered steel pipe and abrasion-resistant net are designed for outdoor durability. Regularly inspect the trellis for any signs of wear or damage.
- Clean the trellis with a damp cloth if it becomes dirty. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents that could damage the protective coating.
- In harsh winter conditions or during periods of prolonged extreme weather, consider covering or temporarily storing the trellis to prolong its lifespan.
