Full details

The Shires Chifney Bit is not designed for riding but is perfect for leading difficult horses or those that are likely to rear up. The Chifney attaches to a headpiece, and has a single loose ring for the lead rope to attach to at the back of the horse's chin. The 'V' shaped mouthpiece will apply strong pressure to your horse's tongue should he try to rear or pull. The Chifney Bit Headpiece is available separately. Available in 5.0", 5.5" or 6.0".
