Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Soil Preparation: Grow salad leaves in well-prepared, fertile, moist soil.
- Sowing: Sow seeds thinly at a depth of 1cm (1/2") in drills 38cm (15") apart.
- Thinning: Thin seedlings to 10cm (4") apart for baby leaves or 30cm (12") for mature plants.
- Watering: Water regularly, especially during dry weather.
- Mulching: Apply a thick mulch to retain soil moisture.
- Harvesting: Harvest baby leaves as needed, or pull up the entire plant for mature leaves.
Compatibility: The seeds are compatible with various growing environments, from outdoor gardens to unheated greenhouses. Ensure the soil is well-drained and receives adequate sunlight or semi-shade.
