Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up your kettle, place the base on a dry, level, and heat-resistant surface near a standard wall outlet. Ensure the cord is tucked away to prevent accidental tripping. Before the first use, it is recommended to boil a full kettle of water and discard it to clean the interior heating element.
For regular maintenance, wipe the exterior with a damp, soft cloth; do not submerge the base or the kettle itself in water. If you live in an area with hard water, descale the kettle periodically by boiling a mixture of white vinegar and water, then rinsing thoroughly to prevent mineral buildup on the heating element.
