FAQs

Who are the Callaway Quantum Max OS Women's Irons best suited for?

These irons are ideal for adult women golfers, particularly those with mid-to-high handicaps, who are looking for maximum forgiveness, easier distance, and more confidence with their iron shots.

What is the primary benefit of the 360-degree Undercut Cavity?

The 360-degree Undercut Cavity is designed to increase face flex, which translates to faster ball speeds and a higher launch for increased distance.

How does the Progressive Tri-Sole Design help my game?

This design improves how the club interacts with the turf, promoting cleaner contact and helping to retain clubhead speed even on slightly heavy or low strikes, leading to more consistent results.

Will these irons help with off-center hits?

Yes, the oversized profile, extreme perimeter weighting, and fully exposed undercut are specifically engineered to boost forgiveness across the hitting area, helping to maintain distance and consistency on off-center strikes.

What kind of feel do these irons offer?

The irons feature Urethane Microspheres integrated into the head, which absorb unwanted vibration at impact. This results in a softer, more premium feel while still delivering speed and forgiveness.

What shaft and grip come standard with these irons?

They come standard with a Mitsubishi Chemical Eldio 40 Ladies shaft and Lamkin ST Soft Women's Standard grips.

Are these irons suitable for advanced players?

While they offer performance benefits, their game-improvement focus with maximum forgiveness and an oversized profile is generally more beneficial for mid-to-high handicap players. Advanced players seeking more workability might prefer a different model.

Troubleshooting

Reduced distance or accuracy

Ensure the clubface is clean and free of debris. Check for any visible damage to the clubhead or shaft. Consider if swing mechanics or shaft flex may be a factor.

Unusual sound or feel at impact

Verify that the urethane microspheres are intact and that there is no looseness in the clubhead construction. Clean the clubface thoroughly.

Ball flight is too high or too low

This can be influenced by swing dynamics. While the club is designed for higher launch, significant deviations might indicate a need for swing analysis or professional fitting.

Difficulty interacting with the turf

Ensure you are making contact with the ball first, then the turf. The progressive tri-sole is designed to help, but proper swing technique is still crucial.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended to have these clubs professionally fitted to your individual swing.

Care Instructions:

To maintain the performance and appearance of your Callaway Quantum Max OS Women's Irons, regular cleaning is essential. After each round, wipe the clubheads and grooves with a damp cloth to remove dirt, sand, and grass. Use a soft brush to gently clean the grooves if necessary. Dry the clubs thoroughly with a clean towel. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the club's finish. Store your clubs in a clean, dry environment, ideally in your golf bag with headcovers on when not in use, to protect them from the elements and prevent scratching.
