Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Cutting: To cut the plasterboard, use a sharp utility knife and a straight edge. Score deeply along the desired line on the paper face, then snap the board cleanly over the edge. Cut the paper on the reverse side.
- Fixing: The boards can be fixed to timber or metal framing using drywall screws. Alternatively, use the dot and dabs method with Knauf Plasterboard Adhesive for a strong bond.
- Finishing: For a professional finish, apply a Knauf plasterboard sealer before painting. Use Knauf jointing compounds and tape for filling and finishing the tapered edges and screw heads.
Compatibility:
This plasterboard is designed to work optimally with Knauf system components, including jointing compounds, adhesives, and metal framing systems. While compatible with standard drywall finishing products, using the recommended Knauf accessories will ensure the best performance and finish.
Care:
Store boards flat in a dry, protected area, avoiding direct contact with the ground or moisture. Handle with care to avoid damage to the edges and faces. Clean dust and debris from the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth after installation and before decoration.
