Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

1. Ensure you have the necessary tools: screwdriver, drill, chisel, and measuring tape.
2. Carefully remove the old lock (if replacing). Use the old lock as a template if possible.
3. Position the lock body within the door frame and mark the areas for the mortice.
4. Use a chisel and drill to create the mortice cavity.
5. Insert the lock body into the mortice and secure it with screws.
6. Install the strike plate on the door frame.
7. Test the lock to ensure smooth operation.

Compatibility:

• Compatible with most standard interior and exterior doors.
• Suitable for door thicknesses commonly found in residential and commercial settings.
• Verify the lock size (76mm) is appropriate for your door.

Care:

• Lubricate the lock mechanism periodically with graphite or a dry lubricant.
• Clean the lock with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Keep the keys in a safe place, away from unauthorized access.
