Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Ensure the surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease or loose particles. Lightly roughening the surface can improve adhesion.
- Mixing: Cut off equal amounts of Part A and Part B. Thoroughly mix the two parts together until the color is uniform.
- Application: Apply the mixed putty to the surfaces to be bonded or repaired. Press firmly to ensure good contact.
- Curing: Allow the putty to cure according to the manufacturer's instructions. Curing time can vary, but generally, it takes a few hours to set and a full day to reach maximum strength.
- Finishing: Once cured, the putty can be drilled, filed, sanded, and painted if desired.
Compatibility: Milliput Black is compatible with a wide range of materials, including metals, plastics, wood, and masonry. Avoid using on surfaces that are constantly exposed to high temperatures or corrosive chemicals.
Care: Store the epoxy putty in a cool, dry place. Ensure the containers are sealed to prevent drying out. Clean tools with water before the putty hardens.
