The Tom Dixon Press Sphere Pendant Light is part of the Press collection, a series defined by its use of exceptionally thick, transparent glass and a focus on light, weight and material presence. Designed to celebrate clarity, the pendant reveals its internal LED technology through the solid glass body, paired with a matching glass ceiling rose and discreet tensile wire for support. The result is a pendant that feels both substantial and carefully engineered. Formed from industrially pressed glass, the spherical shade features rounded linear grooves inspired by shipping buoys and utilitarian glassware. These ribbed details diffuse the light evenly, projecting soft linear patterns that shift gently across surrounding surfaces. Each shade is made by pressing molten glass at extremely high temperatures into iron moulds, a process that gives the pendant its weight, durability and precise surface definition. The Press Sphere Pendant works equally well as a single statement or arranged in clusters over tables, islands or stairwells.
