The P261 rafter glazing bar system is engineered to fit rafters with a minimum width of 60mm. It includes a 60mm wide gasket that securely attaches to the rafter, alongside an aluminium capping bar with bubble gaskets, which should be screwed down at intervals of 300-350mm. Plastic screw covers are provided to conceal the screws in the capping bar. Each pack also contains one end plate, which neatly completes the installation of each bar. This versatile glazing bar system is compatible with multiwall polycarbonate, solid polycarbonate, and glass. For glass installations, we recommend replacing the standard end plates with an aluminium mechanical end plate. Please consult your glass supplier for advice on suitable rafter sizes and glazing spacings. The P261 system is available in white, brown, and anthracite grey (RAL7016) and comes in lengths of 3m or 4m. Additional end plates can be purchased separately. It is a polyester powder coated aluminium cap system, strong and lightweight, available in various stocked lengths from 2.5m to 4m.
