The SKF Top Strut Mount Kit (VKDA35607) is designed for automotive DIYers and professional mechanics looking to restore precise steering and suspension stability to their Renault or Nissan vehicles. By integrating both the suspension strut support mount and the bearing into a single kit, it provides a comprehensive solution for front-axle maintenance; however, users should note that SKF strongly recommends replacing these components in pairs to maintain balanced handling and prevent uneven wear.

This kit includes components for one side only. SKF recommends buying two kits to replace both the left and right mounts at the same time.
Yes, a spring compressor is essential to safely remove the old strut mount and install the new one.
Check your vehicle manual or the current part on your car for OE numbers 6001025850 or 8200651172. You can also cross-reference your VIN with the compatibility list for Renault Clio II, Twingo II, or Nissan Kubistar.
Yes, always perform a professional wheel alignment after disturbing the suspension system to ensure vehicle safety.
The box contains one suspension strut support mount and one bearing.
Verify that all mounting bolts are torqued to the manufacturer's specified values and check for wear in other suspension components like sway bar links or control arm bushings.
A wheel alignment is strictly required after replacing strut mounts to ensure proper geometry and prevent uneven tire wear.
Use a proper spring compressor tool to safely de-tension the strut assembly; never attempt to loosen the strut nut while the spring is under pressure.
Before purchase, verify that your vehicle matches the OE part numbers 6001025850 or 8200651172. The kit is compatible with the front axle of Renault Clio II, Twingo II, and Nissan Kubistar models. To care for these parts, ensure the installation area is clean of debris before mounting to prevent contaminants from entering the new bearing. Avoid using impact wrenches on the strut rod nut, as this can damage the internal components of the new mount.
