The Scheppach HL460 is an ideal choice for homeowners and hobbyists who need a reliable, efficient way to process firewood without the physical strain of using an axe. With its 1500W motor and 4 tonnes of splitting force, it handles seasoned or freshly cut logs up to 370mm long with ease, significantly increasing your productivity. While it is highly effective for domestic use, users should keep in mind that its capacity is limited to smaller log sizes and it is not intended for heavy-duty commercial timber processing.

Regularly check the hydraulic fluid levels as recommended in your user manual, and keep the metal splitting wedge clean and lightly lubricated. During storage, keep the machine in a dry, covered area to prevent rust and protect the electrical components from moisture.
