Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Ensure the horse's legs are clean and dry before applying the wraps.
- Position the wrap around the horse's leg, ensuring it covers the area from just below the knee to the fetlock (front legs) or the hock to the fetlock (hind legs).
- Secure the touch tape closures, ensuring a snug but not overly tight fit. You should be able to slide a finger between the wrap and the horse's leg.
- Check and adjust the fit as necessary, ensuring the wraps do not restrict movement or circulation.
Compatibility
The Weatherbeeta Tough-Tec Stable Boot Wraps are designed for use on horses of various sizes and breeds. They are compatible with most stable and travel environments. Be sure to check the size chart to ensure a proper fit for your horse.
Care
- Remove the removable padded inserts before cleaning.
- Hand wash the wraps in cold water with mild soap.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely, away from direct sunlight or heat.
- Regularly inspect the wraps for any signs of damage or wear and tear. Replace them if necessary.
