Product Information

Full details

The Shires Flat Ring Eggbutt Snaffle with Lozenge removes the nutcracker action of a single jointed bit and sits more comfortably in the horse's mouth. The Eggbutt feature minimises pinching on the edge of the horse's mouth. The lozenge disperses the contact across the mouth to lighten the pressure applied to the edge of the tongue. The thickness of the mouthpiece is 14mm. Height of the cheeks: 55mm (4.5, 5.5), 75mm (5.5, 6). The most frequent material for bits is stainless steel. Durable, simple to clean, odourless, and non-rusting.
