Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation of the Jonsbo CR-1200 is designed for simplicity. Before starting, ensure your motherboard is compatible by checking the supported socket list: Intel LGA 775, 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156 and AMD AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, AM4, FM1, FM2, and FM2+.

Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged.
Clean the surface of the CPU of any old thermal paste using isopropyl alcohol.
Apply a pea-sized amount of new thermal compound to the center of the CPU integrated heat spreader.
Align the cooler brackets with the mounting holes of your specific socket.
Secure the cooler firmly and plug the 3-pin connector into the motherboard's CPU_FAN header.

For maintenance, we recommend using compressed air every 6 months to blow dust out of the fins. Avoid using liquids to clean the fan blades.
