FAQs

What is the main difference between divan sizes regarding storage?

Small Single and Single sizes offer no drawers or 2 drawers. Small Double, Double, King, and Super King sizes can have no drawers, 2 drawers, or 4 drawers, with options for placement at the left, right, or footend.

Does the bed come with a mattress?

No, the mattress is sold separately. This guide pertains to the divan bed frame and headboard only.

How do I clean the plush fabric?

Regularly vacuum with an upholstery attachment. For spills, use a slightly damp cloth and blot gently, avoiding soaking the fabric. Always test cleaning solutions in a hidden area first.

What is the height of the headboard?

The headboard is a standard 54 inches in height and is floor-standing.

Are the drawers suitable for heavy items?

The drawers are fully lined and glide smoothly on metal runners. They are suitable for general storage like bedding or clothing. For very heavy items, distributing the weight evenly is recommended.

Can I choose a different fabric or color than grey?

The product information indicates that the bed is available in various fabric and finish options from Sloomy’s collections. You should check specific product listings for available color and fabric choices.

What is included with the bed frame purchase?

The purchase includes the platform-top divan base, the 54-inch floor-standing headboard, chrome gliders, pre-fitted metal clips, headboard bolts, and fixings. A matching 12-inch footboard is also included.

Troubleshooting

Bed base seems unstable.

Ensure all connecting bolts and fixings are tightened securely. Check that the chrome gliders are firmly attached.

Drawers are difficult to open or close.

Verify that the drawers are correctly seated on their runners and that no obstructions are present in the drawer cavity or on the runners.

Headboard is wobbly.

Confirm that the headboard bolts are fully tightened and that the headboard is properly aligned with the divan base fixings.

Chrome gliders leave marks on the floor.

Ensure the gliders are clean and free from any debris. If marks persist on delicate flooring, consider using felt pads underneath the gliders.
