For adults with type 1 or type 2 diabetes managing their insulin therapy, the GlucoRx CarePoint Pen Needles offer a reliable and comfortable injection experience. They work with virtually all insulin pen devices, significantly reducing injection times and enhancing the flow rate for accurate medication delivery. While they are designed for broad compatibility and comfort, users should always ensure correct needle attachment to prevent leakage or discomfort.

You should use a new, sterile needle for every insulin injection to ensure safety, comfort, and proper medication delivery. Never reuse a needle.
These needles are designed to work with most major insulin pen brands including Sanofi, Eli Lilly, Becton Dickinson, Novo Nordisk AS, and Owen Mumford. For confirmation, please check your insulin pen's user manual or consult your healthcare provider.
The GlucoRx FinePoint Pen Needles typically feature a 32-gauge thickness and a 4mm length, designed for a minimally invasive and comfortable injection experience.
Used needles should be immediately placed into an FDA-cleared sharps disposal container. If a sharps container is not available, you can use a strong plastic container with a tight-fitting lid, clearly labeled 'Sharps Biohazard Waste'.
While designed for adults with type 1 or type 2 diabetes, the comfort and fine gauge make them suitable for younger individuals as well, provided they are administered by a caregiver or under appropriate supervision and guidance from a healthcare professional.
A 3-bevel needle has three angled cutting surfaces at the tip. This design helps to create a sharper point, which allows the needle to penetrate the skin more easily and with less force, reducing discomfort.
Siliconisation is a coating applied to the needle surface. It reduces friction between the needle and the skin, making injections smoother and less painful.
Ensure you are not cross-threading the needle. Align the needle straight with the pen's cartridge housing and twist gently until it is secure. Do not overtighten.
Ensure the needle was attached correctly and firmly to the pen. Make sure the pen was primed properly to remove any air. Check that the dose was dialed correctly and that the pen was held in place for the recommended duration after injection.
Ensure the needle is sharp and hasn't been bent. Try to relax the injection site and pinch the skin gently as per your healthcare provider's instructions. Ensure the injection angle is appropriate (typically 90 degrees for 4mm needles).
Verify that the needle is correctly attached and that the pen has been primed. Check if there is enough insulin left in the pen cartridge. Ensure the dose dial is not at zero and that you are holding the pen straight during injection.
