Check your existing switch for the OE part number 3C8959857. If your part matches this number, the Vemo V10-73-0252 is the correct replacement.
This is a high-quality aftermarket replacement from Vemo designed to meet or exceed original equipment standards.
Generally, you will only need a plastic trim removal tool to safely pop the switch bezel out of the door panel.
The Vemo V10-73-0252 is typically designed for the master control position; please confirm your specific console layout.
Window switches commonly fail due to internal contact oxidation, physical wear from thousands of cycles, or exposure to moisture/liquids.
Verify that the wiring harness connector is fully seated and clicked into place.
Ensure the switch housing is seated flush in the door panel to prevent alignment friction.
Perform a window reset procedure according to your vehicle's service manual, as the power module may need to relearn the end-stop positions.
Before installation, ensure the ignition is turned off and the battery is disconnected to prevent accidental short circuits. Accessing the switch typically involves prying the door trim panel bezel carefully to avoid scratching the interior finish. Always compare the original part's connector pins to the Vemo replacement to ensure they match exactly. Once installed, test the window movement in both 'up' and 'down' directions before fully re-securing the door panel. To care for your new switch, avoid using excessive moisture or harsh chemical cleaners near the electrical contacts, as this can degrade the internal connections over time.
