Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the ground surface is clean, dry, and relatively level.
- Align the plastic base of one tile with the corresponding connectors of an adjacent tile.
- Press down firmly until the tiles securely snap together.
- Continue connecting tiles until the desired area is covered.
- If needed, use a saw to cut tiles to fit around obstacles. Ensure cuts are made carefully.
Compatibility:
These tiles are compatible with most flat, stable surfaces including concrete, wood subflooring, and compacted earth. They are designed for use on decks, patios, balconies, poolside areas, gazebos, and greenhouses. Avoid installation on uneven or unstable ground.
Care:
- Regularly sweep or blow off loose debris.
- For deeper cleaning, disassemble the tiles and wash with mild soap and water. Allow to dry completely before reassembling.
- To maintain the wood's appearance and longevity, consider applying a sealant or wood preservative suitable for fir wood, especially if exposed to harsh weather. Reapply as needed based on product recommendations.
