The Seaguide TYG and TDG guides are designed for modern line types; however, always ensure your guides are clean to prevent unnecessary friction.
Clean with a mild soapy solution and a soft cloth. If the cork begins to degrade, you can lightly sand it with ultra-fine sandpaper or apply a dedicated cork sealant.
The rod includes a protective bag for storage. For transport, it is recommended to use a hard-case tube.

Do not twist the rod. Place a firm grip on both sides of the joint, hold close to the connection, and pull straight apart. Applying a specialized ferrule wax can help prevent future sticking.
