Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Connect the Clarke CTG8 to a suitable air compressor using appropriate hoses and fittings (air compressor and hoses not included).
- Select the desired nozzle and spray pattern.
- Fill the hopper with your chosen texture material, ensuring it is properly mixed and within the viscosity range recommended for the tool.
- Test the spray pattern on a scrap surface before proceeding to the main application.
Compatibility:
The CTG8 is designed to spray most liquid dry wall materials, including:
- Joint cement
- Ceiling acoustics
- Wall texture compounds
- Splatter finishes
- Semi-fog finishes
Care:
- Cleaning is crucial after each use to prevent material from drying and clogging the gun. Disassemble the hopper, nozzle, and any attached parts.
- Use water or a solvent appropriate for the material sprayed to clean all components.
- Ensure all parts are thoroughly dried before reassembly or storage.
- Store the texture gun in a clean, dry place.
